BOBSLED - Distance: 10.6 MILES
Experience a true thrill of a lifetime while riding the 2002 Olympic bobsled track during the summer or winter months. For the summer season, the bobsleds are slightly modified to glide along the track's concrete surface and reach speeds up to 60 mph in less than a minute. The winter experience is a faster, shorter ride as speeds can reach up to 75+ mph.
DOG SLEDDING - Distance: 15.7 MILES
This is a unique adventure for the whole family. Glide through the snow-covered Wasatch and Uinta mountain ranges while being pulled by a team of overachieving Huskies. Children and adults alike love meeting all of the friendly sled dogs and the future racing pups. The dogs are all well cared for, love what they do, and many have received a second chance at life, having come from rescue shelters. This activity is appropriate for children ages 3 and older. DOWNHILL SKIING - Distance: 0.2 MILES

FAT BIKE RIDING - Distance: 3.4 MILES
Maybe you've heard of the newest winter activity called fat bike riding? It's essentially riding a mountain bike with fatter (wider) tires on snow-covered terrain. Sound exciting? It is! And it's become a big sport in Park City. If you are looking for an activity other than the ski trails during winter, you may want to consider fat bikes this season. With over 400 miles of trails in Park City, there's ample space to get out and explore on two wheels during the snowy months. Our Concierge team can help with rentals and gear.
HORSE DRAWN SLEIGH RIDE: DISTANCE: 0.2 MILES
An old-fashioned Park City sleigh ride is a popular option for many people in search of a memorable winter vacation experience. ICE SKATING - Distance: 3.9 MILES
Park City offers two different ice skating options for locals and visitors: an outdoor rink and an indoor rink.
- Park City's only outdoor ice skating rink is centered at the base of Park City Mountain Resort and offers daily ice skating for all ages during the winter months. The pine trees, lights, and upbeat music paired with warm beverages and snacks will put your whole group in the mood for a great time. Complimentary skate walkers are offered for children. There is a variety of local shops and restaurants nearby. Upon arrival, skate as long as you would like with no enforced time limits. - The Park City Ice Arena is an indoor, year-round facility. The Olympic-size ice sheet offers various activities, including open skate sessions, private lessons, group rates, corporate outings, and children’s camps. The facility is also host to learn to skate and learn to play hockey classes, children’s summer camps, figure skating, adult hockey leagues, women’s hockey, speed skating, curling, and sled hockey. SNOW TUBING - Distance:- Distance: 12.8 MILES
There’s more to the mountain than just skiing. Kick up your feet and enjoy a ride down one of seven lighted tubing lanes, including a hill for the little tubers, three beginner lanes, and four advanced lanes. ALPINE SLIDE - Distance: 4.0 MILES
Park City's alpine slide is one of the longest in the world. With over 3,000 feet of gliding luge-like track, and four different tracks to ride, you can experience a different adventure each time you ride down.
ATV RIDING - Distance: 0.2 MILES

UTAH OLYMPIC PARK SUMMER BOBSLED - Distance: 10.6 MILES
Experience a true thrill of a lifetime riding the 2002 Olympic Bobsled Track this summer. For the summer season, the bobsleds are slightly modified to glide along the track's concrete surface and reach speeds up to 60 mph in less than a minute. GOLF - Distance: 5.7 MILES
Elevate your game and experience golf in Park City. With 15 courses throughout the community – 7 public, 8 private – the hardest part is deciding which course to play. HIKING - Distance: 0.25 MILES
Making a perfect family-friendly activity, lift-served hiking is offered from Silver Lake Express at the base, Sterling Express, and Ruby Express at Empire Canyon. Many Deer Valley trails connect with the Park City trail network, providing access to over 400 miles of trails.
HORSEBACK RIDING - Distance: 0.2 MILES
Individuals, families, and small groups alike can enjoy a day spent horseback riding through the gorgeous forest areas located right off our deck. Park City's Skate Park features a street course, beginner bowl/half pipe, as well as deep bowls. The park is open to boarders and in-line skaters, (no bikes allowed) and offers a variety of options for both beginners and experts. Admission is free.
STAND UP PADDLE - Distance: 3.4 MILES
The Snow Park Ponds at Deer Valley Resort are an incredible place to SUP. With little wind and no boats, guests of all ages and abilities can enjoy this fun activity. Park City SUP offers classes, board rentals, lessons, and demos during the summer season.

Park City is a mountain town full of art galleries and artistic inspiration. Everything from sculptures to paintings to photography and more. On the last Friday of every month, the Park City Gallery Stroll offers a free community event that gives locals and Park City visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments while exploring Park City’s art galleries, many of which are located along Historic Main Street. Take the complimentary shuttle service from the Arrival Lobby down to Historic Main Street and stroll the various galleries and boutique shops. SCENIC DRIVES - Distance: 5.1 MILES
Park City boasts natural beauty with gorgeous 360-degree views from almost any point in the mountain town. If you are looking to get out and drive the backcountry, there are several options within minutes of our Lodge location.
Guardsman Pass Scenic Backway connects Park City to Brighton Resort and drops into the Salt Lake Valley or to Midway in Heber Valley. The road surface is paved most of the way with sections of maintained gravel during the summer months. Once atop the 9,700-foot peak, you will have majestic mountain and valley vistas in all directions. Plan for a couple of hours to do the full round-trip route.
Mirror Lake Scenic Byway is one of Utah's most famous and scenic roads. Beginning in Kamas, a short 18-minute drive from the Lodge, the road snakes through the tree-laden Uinta Mountains, past numerous lakes and streams, peaks at an elevation of roughly 10,700 feet and descends into Evanston, Wyoming. Be sure to stop at Provo River Falls for a rest, some sightseeing, and maybe a picnic. Plan for a couple of hours to do an out and back trip. Add in additional time for a hike along any of the numerous trails along the route.

With 1200 acres of breathtaking open space and 10,000 square feet of educational and museum space, the Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter in Park City provide a unique experience allowing visitors to engage with and learn about the surrounding natural environment. To learn more, please click here.

Located in the heart of this community subdivision, New Prospector Park features an arch climbing boulder, benches, dog-friendly areas, and is in close proximity to the Historic Rail Trail.

Conveniently located at the east end of a family-friendly subdivision, Prospector Park has a kid’s playground, picnic tables, and a bike path that runs alongside the park and connects to the Historic Rail Trail.
ROTARY PARK - Distance: 2.4 MILES
Tucked in the Thaynes Canyon neighborhood, this park lends itself to a more intimate setting. An array of flowers border the pavilion that is set among aspens with a creek flowing behind the park and featuring a large grass area, picnic tables, and BBQ grills.
